     Cocaine- (Street Names: Coke, Snow, Crack, Rock). Snow in this song refers to cocaine, a white powdery substance. Lead singer Anthony Kiedis' drug of choice. In this song he tells people "Hey oh, listen what I say, oh", so he can tell about being addicted to drugs. Only when the drugs are killing him does he look back to the decisions he's made "...When it's killing me, when will I really see...". The song has an abundance of internal rhyme as well. "Now you bring it up, I'm gonna ring it up", "Deep beneath the cover of another perfect wonder" and "Now you bring it up, I'm gonna ring it up". Along with the internal rhyme there is assonance "When to descend to amend for a friend".
